This was a personal project. Christian Louboutin is one of the kind, the most iconic shoe brand.
I was always inspired by the iconic red sole design. I wanted to experiment with store design by using their key design features.
The concept for this project was "Luxury Mess". We can think of luxury as a clean, neat, and well-organized environment but I thought it would be interesting to treat luxury more in casual manner such as creating a mess with luxury elements.
I wanted to highlight red sole by creating red footprint as floor graphic to create a message as wearing Louboutin shoes leaves a visible trace. Also created metal mesh column in heel silhouette and arrays of red wood beam dropped ceiling to highlight the red sole.
Animals stands for diversity which aligns with Louboutin's design philosophy. I used rhinoceros to highlight Louboutin's one of most popular studded design shoes.
