The eye, the pupil serves as the entrance, the gateway to each individual’s unique world. Through our eyes, we see and interpret the world around us.
I used Unreal Engine and MetaHuman to produce this short video. Although I would love to use an AI generator to create something like this in the future, for now I wanted to demonstrate how I envision using OpenAI as a designer.
The idea began as a way to present my thought process behind one of my previous projects.
This project focused on designing a market space. One of the main ideas was to communicate the message of “fresh fruit,” specifically apples.
Instead of directly promoting them as “fresh apples,” I chose to create an environment that conveys freshness in a more subtle way.
I placed apples on a shadow-patterned marble floor to evoke a sense of familiarity and memory.
The breeze you feel while standing in the dappled shadows beneath a tree is meant to spark the imagination, suggesting that the apples have just fallen fresh from the tree.
I wanted to share this specific idea because I believe it clearly reflects how I approach design — through storytelling, atmosphere, and emotional connection.
